Trauma Work

Trauma can live in the body long after an event has passed—showing up as overwhelm, disconnection, or a sense of being stuck. Whether you're healing from early attachment wounds, relational harm, or complex developmental trauma, my approach honors the wisdom of your nervous system and the pace that feels safe for you. I offer tools rooted in somatic therapy, EMDR, and Brainspotting to help process trauma gently and effectively, without reactivating overwhelm.

In our work together, we create a space where all parts of you are welcome—even the ones that have been exiled, silenced, or shamed. Healing trauma isn’t about fixing what’s broken—it’s about returning to the wholeness that was always there. I invite a slower, more attuned rhythm where you can reconnect with your body, reclaim your voice, and rebuild your sense of safety from the inside out.

This work is sacred. It asks for care, tenderness, and patience. I walk with you, not ahead of you, helping you feel more grounded in your truth, more connected to yourself, and more capable of living with presence, vitality, and ease.

Mood Disorders / Emotional Dysregulation (Specializing in Borderline Personality Disorder)

Living with intense emotional sensitivity can feel like being in constant flux—one moment calm, the next overwhelmed by a wave of emotion. For those who identify with traits of Borderline Personality Disorder or other forms of emotional dysregulation, the inner world can feel both incredibly rich and painfully raw. I offer a therapeutic relationship rooted in stability, trust, and deep respect—where you won’t be pathologized but instead deeply understood.

Using tools from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), somatic practices, and mindfulness self-compassion, I help clients build emotional regulation skills while also tending to the deeper roots of their pain. Together, we learn how to slow down, listen to what your emotions are communicating, and respond to them with care and clarity. I work from the belief that intense emotions are not problems to be solved—they are invitations to deepen your relationship with yourself.

In our work, you’ll be met with steadiness and warmth, even when things feel messy. You are not too much. You are not broken. I hold hope for you, even in the moments when it feels hard to hold it for yourself.

Depression and Anxiety

Depression and anxiety can make life feel like something you’re surviving rather than living. Whether it’s a heavy fog of hopelessness or a persistent undercurrent of worry, these experiences are often symptoms of deeper disconnection—from your body, your purpose, your inner knowing. Together, we gently explore what these symptoms are asking for, and how we can respond with compassion rather than judgment.

I draw from evidence-based practices, including mindfulness, somatic awareness, and nervous system regulation, to help you reconnect with your sense of vitality and calm. We move at a pace that feels safe—creating space for your emotions while also building the tools you need to move through them with greater ease. You're not alone in this. There is a way forward that honors your sensitivity and your strength.

Healing isn’t always about doing more—it’s about softening, listening, and making space for what’s real. My hope is that through our work, you’ll begin to feel more at home within yourself and more able to meet life with grounded resilience.

Relational Challenges (Emotional/Sexual Intimacy, Dating, Sexual Anxieties & Inhibitions)

Relationships can be some of our most powerful mirrors—reflecting both our longing for closeness and the fears that keep us guarded. Whether you're navigating dating, deepening emotional intimacy, healing sexual shame, or exploring your desires, I offer a nonjudgmental space where your relational struggles can be met with curiosity, compassion, and possibility.

With training in clinical sex therapy and a trauma-informed approach, I help clients gently explore the beliefs, experiences, and nervous system responses that may be shaping how they relate to others and themselves. We work together to untangle patterns rooted in fear, shame, or unmet needs—so you can begin to feel more free, connected, and empowered in your relationships.

Sexuality and intimacy are sacred expressions of who we are. Whether you’re yearning to feel safer in your body, communicate your needs more clearly, or embrace pleasure without fear, our work is about honoring your wholeness. This is a space where you can show up exactly as you are—and be met with warmth, respect, and support.
